WHAT’S THIS BOOK ABOUT?
CUTTHROAT CAPITALISM IN SPACE.

Transporting packages between planets is hard.  That is, until Postmaster General Roy Sharpton invented the new free enterprise model for the Intergalactic Postal Service.  The rules are simple:  whoever delivers the package gets the cash, and postal workers can use any means necessary to steal that package and deliver it themselves.  The more times a package transfers hands, the more fees stack up.  The tougher the delivery, the higher the reward.

Do you work a job or does your job work you?  Has your so called career made you dead inside?  Well, the Intergalactic Postal Service wants you.  Ex-convict, ex-real estate agent, total paranoid schizophrenic— it doesn’t matter.  Sure, this job is dangerous.  But you’ll be your own boss, rake in the cash, and feel truly alive again.

The Books

In addition to being a member of the best workforce in the galaxy, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase a quarterly hardcover graphic novel with over 120 pages of comics by some of the best artists in the industry including Darick Robertson (The Boys, Transmetropolitan, Happy), Simon Bisley (Lobo, Hellblazer, Heavy Metal, 2000AD), Colin MacNeil (Judge Dredd, America), Clint Langley (ABC Warriors, Slaine), Boo Cook (Elephantmen, 2000AD), and many others.

14Unique Reading Experience
As a Space Bastard you will be able to read the serialized adventures of the Intergalactic Postal Service that span an entire year, and several standalone stories that tie-in to the major arc.  All of the material has been written by the sole creative team of Eric Peterson and Joe Aubrey. The anthology books will feature the stories arranged in the writers’ preferred reading order — an experience you won’t get anywhere else.
14Live In The Universe
In addition to the comic stories, each book features maps, interviews with the cast, and planetary guides as supplemental material that is exclusive to this set.  Each book is completely set in-universe.  Along with the books you get access to the Intergalactic Postal Service social media site where you can create your intergalactic postal worker identity, fight other mailmen, discuss your latest deliveries, and more.
14Join The Team
Ongoing parties and conventions are held around the world, featuring the Space Bastards Pub, where subscribers can come drink in (or out) of character, meet some of the creative team, and escape to a life of freedom (and mischief) for a short time.  Subscribers get exclusive items at some of these events, and are always given early notice in an effort to create a large force around the world that knows exactly what it means to be a Space Bastard.

This is the best goddamn workplace in the galaxy.  Where else can you get out all that aggression and make huge piles of money, all while being your own boss?
Roy Sharpton

Postmaster General

Look, on my first day I watched a video and they handed me a package locater bracelet and a gun.  Who else does that?  If only my ex-wife could see me now.
Leroy Palestine

Postal Worker

Someone once told me “beginner’s luck.”  Yeah.  Right.  When you’re lucky all your life, it’s not luck.  Now hand over the package, cupcake.

FAQs

Postmaster General Roy Sharpton answers the most frequently asked questions.

How many stories are typically in each volume of the quarterly hardcover series?
Anywhere from 3-4 stories, each at least 28 pages (and sometimes as long as 44 pages).  In each volume there is at least one issue of the ongoing year-long story, along with at least one standalone story illustrated by one of the world’s most renowned artists.
Are these volumes packaged well?
Look.  This is a story about parcels making a dangerous trek through the galaxy, and somehow being delivered intact.  Not only are these volumes packaged well– they also come in a limited edition box that looks like it was pulled straight out of the comic.  Read the comic preview on this site to see examples of what I mean.
So do I just get a book?
No.  You also get access to the social media site exclusively used by the Intergalactic Postal Service.  You get to socialize with other Space Bastards.  You get invitations to exclusive Space Bastard gatherings around the world.  You also get a badge number, as well as undisclosed goodies that sometimes ship with the books.
